Fall Nails

One important aspect of any outfit that is often overlooked are the complementing beauty products.  An easy way to transition your beauty color palette from summer to fall is with some new nail polish! I will be sad to say goodbye to my lilac and mint nail polish, but I am super excited to welcome all the new, deeper, darker colors for fall! Below I have selected a range of colors that will go with any style. To start is a beautiful nude called Jade Rose from Chanel.  A darker nude is Wooden Shoe Like to Know from OPI.  A stunning burgundy for fall is Royal Rajah Ruby from OPI.  A great plum is Vamsterdam from OPI.  If you are looking for a good maroon try Whining Maroon by Sonia Kashuk. My favorite color for this fall is Oxblood from Sonia Kashuk, it is an amazing brown-red color! Hot Cocoa by Essie is a wonderful taupe that would look good on a ton of skin tones! Grey is a popular color for fall 2012 and a nice light grey is Particullere from Chanel.  If you want a darker grey, try Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! By OPI! The final fall color I love is Dree by Zoya, it is a beautiful army green and would go perfect with the military-chic trend this season!
All of these colors look amazing when painted on the nails! Hope you find some new nail polish to add to your fall wardrobe!

Shed Your Skin

Snakeskin is a fall trend that appeared on the runways last year and is still on trend for fall 2012.  However, snakeskin is a trend that can be hard to master.  Below I have selected some pieces that will help infuse your wardrobe with some snakeskin. The first item is a light wash snakeskin print maxi dress. This dress would be a great choice to pair with a cute denim jacket or a neutral cardigan for fall.  This dress is from Bonanza for $74. Get it here!  The second item is is pair of dark grey faux snakeskin ankle boots. These boots remind me of the famous Zara python boots from last season. (Check them out on The Glamourai!)  I like these boots because it is a subtle hint of snakeskin print that can go well with pants, dresses, blazers, and sweaters. These boots are from Piperlime for $79.  (Don't forget, your first purchase with Piperlime after signing up for emails is 15% off!). Get them here!  The third item is a pair of python Mary-Janes that are reminiscent of the popular Nine West ones from last fall! (Check them out here!)  The silhouette of these heels are fun and feminine but the print helps make them modern and trendy! I also love the chunky heel! These heels would transition well from work to play! They can also be found on Piperlime on sale for $24! Get them here!  The fourth item is a python print cuff. This season, python printed jewelry is becoming popular as seen with the fashion blogger Karla Deras prompting jewelry line Roman Luxe. (Check out the blog post here!)  You can snag your piece of python jewelry for only $20!  Get the cuff here! The fifth item is a pair of knee-high python print boots from jcpenny.  This style is similar to Sam Edelman's Serephina snakeskin print boot for $275! Check out the boots here! However, the boots below are only $55! Get them here! The final item is another maxi dress in a snakeskin print, but this print is darker and a little bit edgier than the other maxi dress. This dress would look great with a cropped leather jacket and some boots! This dress is from UrbanOutfitters and is on sale for $50! Get it here!
One thing to keep in mind with this trend is that it snakeskin can be either flirty or edgy, so don't be afraid to play around with it!

Luxe Leather

This fall one of the hottest trends is black leather... everything! However, you can look luxe without having to pay the high price of leather. One way to do this is to look faux leather pieces that look expensive.  Another way to avoid paying the high price of leather is to hunt for leather pieces that are a good bargin price. Below I have selected a combination of leather and faux leather items that anyone can rock, no matter their budget.  The first item is a must for Fall, a pair of mid-calf black leather boots from Zara. These boots would look great with chunky knits and scarves.  The boots are only $60, a steal for leather boots! Get them here!  The second item is a piece that would be an easy transitional piece into fall, black faux leather shorts from PacSun.  These would look cute with a sheer top and heels or with a denim vest and boots. The shorts are $45, pricy for shorts but think of them as an investment piece to wear for seasons to come! Get it here!  The third item is a cute studded leather bracelet from Etsy.  This is a beautiful bracelet because the gold studs are a great contrast against the black leather and can help add a hint of sophisticated edge to any outfit.  The bracelet is only $4! Added bonus, this shop on Etsy has a variety of thin leather bracelets that would look cute piled on! Get it here!  The fourth item is an amazing pair of faux leather pants by Dollhouse from Bealls.  These pants make a great substitute for expensive leather pants. Try these pants with a structured feminine top or a graphic black and white shirt! These pants are $44. Get them here!  The fifth and final item is a triple wrap black leather belt from Freepeople.  This belt would look great with dresses, skirts, and even paired with a great sweater dress! This leather belt is only $28! Get it here!
Don't fear the look of leather, this is a trend every style and every type of girl can wear!

The Sandal

Summer is almost over, but that does not mean it is too late to snatch the perfect pair of sandals!
