Fall Nails

One important aspect of any outfit that is often overlooked are the complementing beauty products.  An easy way to transition your beauty color palette from summer to fall is with some new nail polish! I will be sad to say goodbye to my lilac and mint nail polish, but I am super excited to welcome all the new, deeper, darker colors for fall! Below I have selected a range of colors that will go with any style. To start is a beautiful nude called Jade Rose from Chanel.  A darker nude is Wooden Shoe Like to Know from OPI.  A stunning burgundy for fall is Royal Rajah Ruby from OPI.  A great plum is Vamsterdam from OPI.  If you are looking for a good maroon try Whining Maroon by Sonia Kashuk. My favorite color for this fall is Oxblood from Sonia Kashuk, it is an amazing brown-red color! Hot Cocoa by Essie is a wonderful taupe that would look good on a ton of skin tones! Grey is a popular color for fall 2012 and a nice light grey is Particullere from Chanel.  If you want a darker grey, try Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! By OPI! The final fall color I love is Dree by Zoya, it is a beautiful army green and would go perfect with the military-chic trend this season!
All of these colors look amazing when painted on the nails! Hope you find some new nail polish to add to your fall wardrobe!

Shed Your Skin

Snakeskin is a fall trend that appeared on the runways last year and is still on trend for fall 2012.  However, snakeskin is a trend that can be hard to master.  Below I have selected some pieces that will help infuse your wardrobe with some snakeskin. The first item is a light wash snakeskin print maxi dress. This dress would be a great choice to pair with a cute denim jacket or a neutral cardigan for fall.  This dress is from Bonanza for $74. Get it here!  The second item is is pair of dark grey faux snakeskin ankle boots. These boots remind me of the famous Zara python boots from last season. (Check them out on The Glamourai!)  I like these boots because it is a subtle hint of snakeskin print that can go well with pants, dresses, blazers, and sweaters. These boots are from Piperlime for $79.  (Don't forget, your first purchase with Piperlime after signing up for emails is 15% off!). Get them here!  The third item is a pair of python Mary-Janes that are reminiscent of the popular Nine West ones from last fall! (Check them out here!)  The silhouette of these heels are fun and feminine but the print helps make them modern and trendy! I also love the chunky heel! These heels would transition well from work to play! They can also be found on Piperlime on sale for $24! Get them here!  The fourth item is a python print cuff. This season, python printed jewelry is becoming popular as seen with the fashion blogger Karla Deras prompting jewelry line Roman Luxe. (Check out the blog post here!)  You can snag your piece of python jewelry for only $20!  Get the cuff here! The fifth item is a pair of knee-high python print boots from jcpenny.  This style is similar to Sam Edelman's Serephina snakeskin print boot for $275! Check out the boots here! However, the boots below are only $55! Get them here! The final item is another maxi dress in a snakeskin print, but this print is darker and a little bit edgier than the other maxi dress. This dress would look great with a cropped leather jacket and some boots! This dress is from UrbanOutfitters and is on sale for $50! Get it here!
One thing to keep in mind with this trend is that it snakeskin can be either flirty or edgy, so don't be afraid to play around with it!

Luxe Leather

This fall one of the hottest trends is black leather... everything! However, you can look luxe without having to pay the high price of leather. One way to do this is to look faux leather pieces that look expensive.  Another way to avoid paying the high price of leather is to hunt for leather pieces that are a good bargin price. Below I have selected a combination of leather and faux leather items that anyone can rock, no matter their budget.  The first item is a must for Fall, a pair of mid-calf black leather boots from Zara. These boots would look great with chunky knits and scarves.  The boots are only $60, a steal for leather boots! Get them here!  The second item is a piece that would be an easy transitional piece into fall, black faux leather shorts from PacSun.  These would look cute with a sheer top and heels or with a denim vest and boots. The shorts are $45, pricy for shorts but think of them as an investment piece to wear for seasons to come! Get it here!  The third item is a cute studded leather bracelet from Etsy.  This is a beautiful bracelet because the gold studs are a great contrast against the black leather and can help add a hint of sophisticated edge to any outfit.  The bracelet is only $4! Added bonus, this shop on Etsy has a variety of thin leather bracelets that would look cute piled on! Get it here!  The fourth item is an amazing pair of faux leather pants by Dollhouse from Bealls.  These pants make a great substitute for expensive leather pants. Try these pants with a structured feminine top or a graphic black and white shirt! These pants are $44. Get them here!  The fifth and final item is a triple wrap black leather belt from Freepeople.  This belt would look great with dresses, skirts, and even paired with a great sweater dress! This leather belt is only $28! Get it here!
Don't fear the look of leather, this is a trend every style and every type of girl can wear!

House of Harlow 1960 Jewelry

One of my favorite brands is House of Harlow 1960, Nicole Richie's brand.  The line consists of sunglasses, bags, shoes, and jewelry! Whenever I splurge on jewelry, it is usually House of Harlow and because of doing so I have adapted to finding good House of Harlow deals! Printed Pants

I usually don't like patterns, but if I do wear anything printed, it will usually be pants! Printed pants are easy to style for me. I usually style them with a cute oversized top, some chunky jewelry, a hat, and some platforms.  But printed pants can be worn so many different ways and come in various silhouettes.  Below I picked out a few printed pants that I think have great prints and shapes and would be easy to style! Pamela Love at J.Crew

I am excited to present Pamela Love's beautiful three piece collection for J.Crew! I started drooling over the pieces right after they hit J.Crew's website back in the beginning of May! Each piece is just as unique as the last, the Chevron belt with arrow like details and studs, the denim jacket with the decorative pins and plaid lining, and the skinny jean with the knee patch and the relaxed look of a boyfriend jean! Get them here! The belt is $135 and the jacket (which is already sold out!) and jeans are $295 each! While the prices are steep, they are still less costly than some of her amazing jewelry! Get them while they last!

Ankle Boots on Parade!

As you may recall, the Isabel Marant Dicker boot was a hot item not that long ago! Many designers tried to capture the same silhouette and style of the boot. Two brands who I think did a good job in creating a comparable boot were Steve Madden with the Pembrook boot and Report with the Marks boot.  Both were considerably cheaper than the Dicker boot but were still expensive for my wallet cashing in at $100! So with all the sales currently going on, these two styles are now on sale and come in a range of colors! The first two boots shown are the Steve Madden Pembrook in the Cognac and the Wine.  Black and Taupe are also available! The boots are $39 on endless.com! Get them here! The last two pictured are the Report Marks in Black and Sand, also available in Cognac! I purchased the Sand, I thought it was a good neutral color for a boot! They are $49 on Piperlime.com. Get them here! $49 may still be a bit pricy, but your first purchase from Piperlime (after creating an account) is 15% off! Make sure to grab a pair of ankle boots for yourself they work well in every season with just about every outfit!

Spikes n' Studs

One trend I am loving at the moment are studded and spiked pieces, especially accessories! Spikes are an easy way to add a touch of edginess to any outfit! Some affordable pieces I am eyeing right now are pictured below! The silver stretch spike bracelet from Asos for $14! Get it here! The brown studded sandals from Zara are real leather and only $30! Get them here! I love the bronze spike necklace from Nasty Gal for $20! Get it here! I loved the gold spike bracelet from Urban Outfitters so much that I caved and bought it (while it was 30% off)! Its $16 and also comes in silver! Get it here! The black studded back heels are from Forever 21 for $37! Get them here! Finally, my absolute favorite studded item are these black Zara boots! They just went on sale for $80! Get them here!

Flare Up!

Flared jeans are a personal fav of mine! The wider the better! Currently, Net-a-Porter and Free People have some good jeans on sale, all under $50! In the sale section on Net-a-Porter, they have two Michael Kors light wash denim flared jeans! The first pair shown is on sale for $33! They are a subtle flare for anyone looking to test-drive the beloved silhouette! They look modern and sleek but still have a trendy and vintage feel to them! Plus the light wash would be great for summer! Get them here! The second pair is another pair of Michael Kors jeans. I love the two front pockets and the darker wash! They are on sale for $40! Get them here! The third pair shown can be found on Free People! They come in three additional colors: blue, red, and salmon! These jeans are $30 and would be a good investment piece for those who like to be a bit more bold with their jeans! The range of colors are great because they can be worn throughout almost every season! Get them here! The next pair pictured is also from Free People for $50! I like the relaxed look of these jeans and the hole at the knee adds to the feel! Get them here! Any of these pairs would be great and affordable additions to your wardrobe!

Just In Time

I have created my blog just in time to share with you all the sales that are currently blowing my mind! I recently just visited Zara.com and browsed their sale items! I found so many pieces that I have been lusting over all season that are finally on sale and finally in my price range!  I purchased a pair of white floral pants online for $40, I have a thing for printed pants! The sale at the Zara store is even more affordable with the sale prices starting as low as $9.99! A good place to stock up on nice basics for cheap! I also purchased a black studded tank for $20 in the store! Its a piece that will fit right into my wardrobe and will get lots of use!
One of my favorite and most tempting stores, Urban Outfitters, just had a good sale on their jewelry! All the jewelry in the store, sale and full priced, was 30% off! I purchased a gold spike bracelet for $11! I have been on the hunt for the right spike bracelet at the right price and was thrilled when I found it at Urban Outfitters! I have already worn it countless times! Its delicate but edgy, a perfect combination!
Nordstrom is another place for great sales!! Online and in the store there are plenty of affordable pieces to tempt you! I found a great sale on men's Cole Haan shoes at shop.nordstrom.com! There is also a nice selection of Free People items on sale! In addition, there are plenty of designer pieces up to 70% off! If there is a pair of Valentino shoes you've been lusting over or a Michael Kors watch, now is a good time to treat yourself! Nordstrom's sale is definitely not one to pass up!
Another great store having a good sale is Gap! I recently bought a black leather skinny belt with bronze studs for $3 from Gap! It is definitely a new fav in my wardrobe! Online, Gap also has a good sale shoe selection, one my personal favorits is a pair of tall fringe boots on sale for $60! They come in a taupe and a black, both of which will work well with anyone's wardrobe! The price is still a little steep but for fringe boots $60 is a great deal! Get them here! And right now. Gap.com is doing 10% off your entire purchase!
J.Crew also just had a great sale, their sale items were an extra 30% off! Its a great place to treat yourself to a new shirt or sweater! My boyfriend walked out with two new pairs of pants, a sweater, a t-shirt, and some socks! The prices were a good excuse for him to stock up on some work clothes! J.Crew's sale can also be a great time to find special pieces to splurge on without feeling too guilty! For instance, their leather ballet flats that are iconic in their own sense were currently on sale with the extra 30% off!
One store that is unsuspecting for trendy pieces! is Anne Taylor Loft! They are known for having a sale on top of their sale usually with an extra 40% off all sale items! But they have out done themselves this time! Right now everything, full priced and sale, is 40% with the code SHOP40! I went to the store and bought an oversized black sweater for $2 and a chunky silver bracelet for $12! My wallet and my wardrobe are appreciating these spectacular finds!
I hope you have good luck hunting through the sales!
